October Drop-In Class
Class Experience
This class is 1hr of caregiver and me open play.
Ages 16months- 5yrs old
Head into our nature zones for open play, such as, mud kitchen, investigation station, sensory garden, and more.
Our curriculum is designed to inspire a love for learning through play while promoting pre-academic skills and social-emotional growth. The children will engage in cooperative play, learn to communicate effectively, demonstrate risk-management skills, practice critical thinking, and develop resilience by navigating challenges in a natural setting.
Through a blend of structured activities and unstructured play, we cultivate a deep connection with the natural world while fostering creativity and curiosity.
Classes may get muddy, messy, or both!
CANCELATION/ REFUND POLICY:
EMAIL us at foothillslittleexplorers@gmail.com at least 24 hours BEFORE class begins if you will not make class. You can attend another class within the same month as a make-up, pending availability. Refunds will only be given if the class is canceled SEVEN days in advance.
There will be no refunds or credits for a missed class.
PARKING DIRECTIONS:
Use 820 NC 126 Morganton, NC 28655, for the address. Please park in the gravel parking spaces. You will then walk roughly 40 yards to Foothills Little Explorers Nature School on the gravel path. Foothills Little Explorers Nature School is located inside the fence.
WEATHER AND MAKE-UP CLASS
CLASS RUNS IN ALL WEATHER (even the rain and snow!)
Class runs in temperatures with a forecasted "Real Feel" at or above 20° Fahrenheit and at or below 100° Fahrenheit.
Classes will be cancelled if dangerous weather is forecasted.
If a class is canceled by Foothills Little Explorers, an email will be sent out at least 1 hour before the start time. Refunds will be given if the class is canceled.
Please check your email 1 hr before EVERY class.
If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
We do not tolerate inappropriate language, or physical violence to others or property. We ask that parents please step in if this behavior persists and please remove the child from the setting.
If your child cannot follow these expectations after three removals, they will be unenrolled from class. We ask that you try again after a month's break.
